This policy explains how Phil Rogalski, doing business as Rogalski Web Studio (“RWS,” “I,” or “we”) in Rochester, New York, handles information through rogalskiwebstudio.com and related inquiries and client services.
The essentials: We use your information to respond, provide agreed services, and manage billing. Inquiries use FormSubmit and our website’s database. Stripe handles payments. Please keep passwords, full card details, and other sensitive records out of inquiry forms.
1. Information we collect
- Inquiries and communications: your name, email, business name, website or preferred domain, service selection, project description, and any other details you choose to send by form, email, phone, or text.
- Client and billing records: contact and billing details, quotes, agreements, project materials, feedback, support requests, invoices, subscription details, and payment status.
- Technical information: our hosting, security, form, and payment providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, and request or transaction identifiers to deliver and protect their services.
2. How we use information
We use information to answer questions, prepare quotes, discuss scope, design and maintain websites and brands, deliver support, manage payments and subscriptions, prevent spam or fraud, and maintain business records. Project-related communications are used to follow up on your request and provide the services you agree to.
RWS does not sell or rent your inquiry or client contact information. We request permission before featuring your client project or testimonial in our portfolio.
3. Inquiries, hosting, and service providers
With JavaScript enabled, the inquiry form first saves your submitted details in the website’s database, then sends you to FormSubmit’s verification and confirmation flow for delivery to our Yahoo email inbox. Without JavaScript, the form submits directly to FormSubmit. A database copy may remain even if you do not finish the verification step.
We use website-hosting, cloud-storage, security, and site-administration providers to operate this website and maintain its records. Cloudflare infrastructure supports website delivery and storage. We share information with providers as needed to operate the website and deliver agreed services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
If you authorize domain registration or management, we provide the registrar and registry with the registrant and contact details needed for that service. Registration terms and any applicable public registration-data rules are discussed before purchase. A domain inquiry alone does not register a domain.
4. Stripe payments and subscriptions
Stripe processes payments, invoices, and recurring care-plan billing. Payment information entered in the embedded Stripe form is handled by Stripe. Full card numbers and card security codes are not stored in RWS’s inquiry database.
RWS can access billing and transaction records needed to manage your service, such as your name, email, invoice and subscription details, payment status, and limited payment-method information. Stripe and payment methods you select may process additional information for payment processing, fraud prevention, and their own obligations. See the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Privacy requests do not automatically cancel a subscription. Contact Phil separately about billing or cancellation under your care-plan agreement.
6. Retention and security
We retain inquiry and client records as reasonably needed to respond, complete work, provide ongoing support, maintain accounting and contract records, meet applicable obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention varies with the record and purpose; the inquiry form does not automatically delete submissions after a fixed period. Service providers and backups may follow separate retention schedules.
The website uses HTTPS and access controls for private administration and inquiry records. No online service, email system, or storage method can guarantee complete security. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal records through the inquiry form.
7. Your choices and requests
You can choose which optional details to provide or contact Phil instead of using the form. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information held by RWS, use the contact details below. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity before acting.
We will review your request and explain any limits, including records we need to retain for billing, legal obligations, security, or ongoing services. Rights and response requirements depend on the laws that apply to you. Information controlled independently by a provider may require a separate request to that provider.
8. Children’s information
This website and its inquiry and payment services are intended for adults seeking design services and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact Phil so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
9. Changes and scope
We will post updates here and revise the date above when this policy changes. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required. This policy covers RWS’s website and business practices; websites operated separately by our clients or other businesses have their own policies.
