Project scope

Before work begins, you’ll receive a written quote and a client agreement describing the pages, features, deliverables, content you’ll supply, total price, and included revisions. Additional work needs a separate quote and your approval.

Payment

A 50% deposit is due before work begins on a one-time project. The remaining 50% is due once the agreed work is complete and you’ve reviewed it and confirmed you’re satisfied. Monthly website care are billed separately at $50/month. Your consultation is free and carries no obligation.

Revisions and approval

Website builds include unlimited revisions to refine the agreed design scope before launch. New pages, new features, or a change in project direction receive a separate quote and require your approval. Basic brand design includes two rounds of revisions unless your written quote states otherwise; a round is one collected set of feedback on the draft. Completion means the agreed deliverables are ready for your review. You’ll confirm satisfaction and approval in writing by email or text. If something within the agreed scope needs correction, let me know so we can resolve it. New pages, features, or a change in project direction receive a separate quote. Specific review dates and the process for delayed feedback will be recorded in your client agreement.

First draft and project timing

For qualifying projects agreed in advance, your first draft is ready within 48 hours after the project is agreed, the deposit is received, and all required content, photos, and details are supplied. This promise covers the first draft. Revision and launch dates are agreed separately. Missing content, requested changes, or delayed feedback may affect the schedule; we’ll discuss any revised dates.

Content and permissions

You supply accurate business information and the text, photos, logos, and other materials needed for your project. Please provide only materials you have permission to use. Content organization and layout are included with website builds; additional writing or asset creation is quoted separately.

Ownership and ongoing costs

You remain the registered owner of your domain. For new care-plan clients, Rogalski Web Studio can register and manage it on your behalf through OpenSRS. Existing domains may remain with their current provider unless a transfer is separately authorized. Rogalski Web Studio manages your website and coordinates its hosting setup. Your written quote will identify the hosting provider, any ongoing domain or hosting costs, and who pays them before you commit. Standard website hosting is included in the $50/month website-care plan. One standard, nonpremium .com registration or annual renewal, DNS management, and renewal tracking are included for new care-plan clients while the plan is active. Availability and eligibility are confirmed in writing before purchase. Premium domains, additional domains, other extensions, transfer costs, paid tools, and any specialized hosting outside the plan are separate and agreed in your quote. Your client agreement will specify ownership and access for website files, design deliverables, and the hosting account, along with what is handed over and when, including arrangements if you choose to move the website. Other subscriptions or paid services will also be disclosed before you commit. Third-party assets and platforms remain subject to their own licenses and terms. Permission to feature your project in my portfolio will be requested separately.

Cancellation and refunds

The client agreement will set out cancellation, deposit, and refund terms before you pay, including how completed work and approved third-party expenses are handled if either party ends the project. No blanket non-refundable deposit policy is created by this page.

Website refreshes

Website refreshes start at $75 for one-time design or layout changes to sites built by Rogalski Web Studio, such as updating colors or rearranging sections. Scope and price are agreed in writing before work begins. Larger redesigns receive a separate quote.

Monthly website care

For $50/month, websites built by Rogalski Web Studio receive standard website hosting, unlimited edits to existing content, basic SEO upkeep, and monthly analytics reporting once analytics is connected. Content edits cover existing text, photos, services, hours, seasonal offers, and links. There is no request-count or time cap for included content edits. Requests are completed one at a time, with timing agreed when submitted.

Basic SEO upkeep includes monthly checks and small updates to existing page titles, descriptions, image alt text, and internal links. The monthly traffic report summarizes available visits, popular pages, and traffic sources. Analytics setup and access are confirmed before the plan begins, and reports depend on available data.

Availability and eligibility are confirmed in writing before purchase. Premium domains, additional domains, other extensions, transfer costs, paid tools, specialized hosting outside the plan, new pages, features, refreshes, and redesigns are separate. Billing dates, the cancellation process, notice requirements, and any treatment of a partial month will be agreed in writing before the plan starts.

Domain-only purchases

You may buy a domain separately through the RWS domain storefront. A domain-only purchase does not include a website build, website hosting, business email, or monthly website care. Standard .com registration and renewal are currently $21.75 per year; standard .com transfers are $21.75 per transfer. Review availability, the final price, registration term, renewal settings, and the registrar’s terms presented at checkout before purchasing. Other extensions, premium names, and additional services may have different prices. You remain the registered domain owner and are responsible for accurate contact details and any required verification.

Domain ownership and cancellation

Registration requires your approval of the domain, accurate registrant details, and applicable registration terms. You must complete any required contact verification. If website care ends, you retain domain ownership; RWS will help hand over management, and future renewal costs become your responsibility. Initial registration funding, cancellation notice, and treatment of approved annual third-party expenses are agreed in writing before purchase. No additional cancellation fee is created by this page.

A clear agreement before work starts

This page explains how we work together. Reading it or requesting a consultation does not accept a contract or create a payment obligation. You’ll receive a separate agreement for your specific project to review and sign before paying the deposit. Any agreed differences from these general terms will be stated in that agreement.
